Husband splashes acid on wife’s private parts

RAJBIRAJ, JUN 26 -
A husband allegedly poured acid in the genitals of his wife on the charge of "talking" with another man on Tuesday.

Badri Maya Bishwakarma, 30, of local Mahuli, Bakdhuwa VDC Ward No. 7, was admitted to the Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital after suffering the acid attack at the hands of her husband . Krishna Bahadur Bishwakarma.

The victim said that her 48-year-old husband poured acid into her private parts while she was sleeping at their house and then fled.

Local women had collected Rs 5000 and got Badri Maya admitted to the local Unique Hospital. She was later referred to the Zonal Hospital.

Krishna Bahadur had married her 13 years ago after his first wife divorced him. They have an 11-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son.

A complaint has been filed at the Mahuli Police Post against offender Krishna Bahadur and a search has been mounted for him, said the police. RSS
