APF chief among 200 officials under CIAA scanner

KATHMANDU, JUN 28 - The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has initiated investigations into the property of 200 high-ranking government officials including Inspector General of Armed Police Force Kosh Raj Onta .

Along with Onta, SSP Shyam Kaji Kunwar, SSP Chirinjivi Adhikari, SSP Shyam Kaji Kunwar and Gopal Man Shrestha have come under the CIAA scanner .

Likewise, the anti-graft body has brought Nepal Police DIG Pratap Singh Thapa, Ramesh Bikram Shah, SSP Sanjaya Singh Basnet and DSP Hira Bahadur Giri under its investigation. The CIAA informed that bank lockers of the officials under investigations have been closed.
