Address demands of dissenting parties: Pokharel

CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel has said that the nation should head for election only after addressing the dissenting parties .
He ruled out the possibility of Constituent Assembly elections prior addressing political demands and concerns of the parties opposing the polls .
Speaking at a press meet organised by Press Chautari Nepal in Kaski on Saturday, leader Pokharel suggested all the parties to show maximum flexibility to hold CA polls on the slated date.
"The nation should move ahead by addressing political issues, elections can not be held by ignoring to incorporate dissenting parties ," Pokharel said.
He said parties should make attempts to make all the opposing parties including the Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Maoist and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum to participate in the upcoming polls .
Also on the occasion, Pohkarel said the UML party has been heading in unity following the announcement of CA polls date.
He said cadres have been deployed nationwide for the preparation of the polls . He also ruled out the possibility of drafting democratic constitution if the UML fails to bring majority in the CA polls .
