Rawal stresses on constituting new government
BHAKTAPUR, DEC 12 -
CPN-UML Bhim Rawal has said that all the political parties should move ahead for forming a new government and constitution writing by distributing posts based on consensus as per the fresh people's mandate.
At a programme organised by the Rafat Sanchar Club, Bhaktapur, on Thursday, Rawal said that a new government should be formed on the basis of majority if consensus was not forged among parties on the issue.
Saying that it was not contextual to hold the country hostage of indecision in the name of consensus, he said the UCPN (Maoist) has no alternative to participate in the Constituent Assembly (CA) on the basis of fresh mandate.
Rawal said that the current mandate is to hold the election to the posts of the President and Vice-President.
Stating that his party would take initiatives to bring the UCPN (Maoist) and CPN-Maoist into the CA and the new government by holding discussion and talks with them, Rawal said there was no alternative to all parties to joining hands. RS
