Oli wants Hlpc dissolved at earliest
KATHMANDU, DEC 12 -
CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli has said the High-level Political Committee should be dissolved at the earliest. The HLPC was formed to assist the non-party government after Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi was appointed as the head of the election government.
Oli, who had already tabled a dissolution proposal at the party’s ongoing Central Committee meeting, reiterated his stance at a HLPC meeting on Wednesday. “He had already proposed the party to lobby for the dissolution of the cross-party mechanism,” said a Central Committee member. The UML leader’s proposal has, however, not been taken seriously neither in the party nor at the cross-party mechanism.
