Quake hits Pakistan

An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hit Pakistan's Sindh province early Friday, said Pakistan Meterological Department (PMD). However, there was no immediate report of casualties or damage to property.
The temblor, which occurred at 12.28 and had a depth of 10 km, had its epicentre at a place located some 63 km from Larkana city of the province, reported Xinhua citing PMD on its website.
Strong tremors were felt in the quake-hit areas, said local media.
