NC, UML meeting concludes
KATHMANDU, DEC 22 -
A meeting between the top leaders of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML concluded at NC President Sushil Koirala's residence in Maharajgunj on Sunday.
UML leader Raghuji Panta informed that the meeting dwelt upon contemporary political matters including giving a final shape to the Constituent Assembly. "The meeting discussed on giving a final shape to the CA by submitting the names of candidates under the PR category by December 25," Pant said. The issue of government formation, however, was not discussed, Panta added.
Meanwhile, a meeting between UML and UCPN (Maoist) is due to begin at the Peace Secretariat in New Baneshwor.
The UML-Moaist meeting will be followed by a tripartite talks at 4 pm today.
