MK Nepal gets invitation from Delhi
KATHMANDU, JUL 19 - CPN (UML) senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal is due to leave for Indian Capital New Delhi on Wednesday at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh .
Nepal will be accompanied by UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel and former Foreign Affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai.
Nepal will embark on a five-day visit to the southern neighbour from Wednesday.
Nepal is scheduled to meet Indian leaders and participate in one of the programmes to be organised at the Naland University in Bihar state.
The invitation comes a month after senior Nepali Congress leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba visited India.
Likewise, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Puspha Kamal Dahal had also visited India in a much-hyped sojourn through April 27-30 and met Indian Prime Minister Singh and External Affairs Minister Salman Khursid, among other leaders.
It has been learnt that New Delhi is mulling inviting some leaders from the Madhesi Morcha.
