Big three to resolve political issues through HLPC
HLPC meeting summoned at 9 Wednesday morning

Big three political parties have agreed to resolve differences and disputes emerged among the political parties through High Level Political Committee (HLPC).
The three party meeting summoned by the Nepali Congress has decided to hold HLPC meeting on Wednesday.
Top leaders of NC, CPN-UML and UPCN (Maoist) were present during the meeting held at the office of Peace Fund in Babarmahal this morning.
Emerging from the meeting, UPCN (Maoist) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the HLPC meeting will be held at 9 tomorrow morning and that the issues will be discussed in the same meeting.
The HLPC also consists of Madhesi Front including the big three. Earlier, attempts were made to resolve all the issues through HLPC prior to the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.
Meanwhile, the UCPN (Maoist) and some Madhes-based parties have been demanding to form an independent probe panel to look into alleged poll rigging activities during the CA elections.
They have claimed that they would not participate in the CA and would not send the name list of the candidates for the Proportional Representation until the probe panel is formed.
Today's meeting was summoned by the NC for the first time following the second election to the CA held on November 19.
According to NC joint general secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka, the NC summoned the meeting to bring the UCPN (Maoist) on board.
"Attempts have been made to resolve all the deadlocks through talks to give a final shape to the CA," Khadka said.
