Big three meet underway
KATHMANDU, DEC 10 -
A meeting between big three parties- Nepali Congress , CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist)-is underway at the office of Peace Fund in Babarmahal on Tuesday.
The meeting has been summoned by the NC for the first time following the second election to the Constituent Assembly held on November 19.
According to NC joint general secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka, the NC summoned the meeting to bring the UCPN (Maoist) on board.
"Attempts have been made to resolve all the deadlocks through talks to give a final shape to the CA," Khadka said.
Meanwhile, the UCPN (Maoist) has been saying that the issues raised by the party should be solved prior to the first sitting of the CA. It has also been demanded to form an independent commission to look into the poll rigging activities as claimed by the party during the election.
