26,811 complaints filed at Hello Sarkar desk

KATHMANDU, DEC 05 - As many as 26,811 complaints have been filed at the 'Hello Sarkar' desk established to address the complaints concerned with daily life of the people.
Of the complaints , 97.35 per cent or 25,851 have already been addressed, the government claims.
At a programme organised by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singh Darbar, on Thursday, to release a two-year report, it was informed that the complaints received at the desk were being sent to the bodies concerned with priority.
On the occasion, Secretary Krishna Hari Banskota, said that obstructed electricity and road services have been resumed, the obstructed ADSL service of the Nepal Telecom is resumed, action was taken against those charging more fare on public transportation and power outage has been brought down to limited hours on the basis of the complaints .
The report states that around 800 complaints are now filed every month in average.
