ROLPA, AUG 25 -
Police on Saturday started interrogating local people of Ghartigaun VDC-7 in the district in connection with reports that some villagers recovered a large amount of money and valuables allegedly buried by then CPN (Maoist) in local Odroha forest during the insurgency.
Local people earlier reported that some villagers recovered millions of rupees and five kilograms of gold jewellery from the forest.
Some villagers said an unidentified group dug in the forest on July 7 and might have taken away the money and valuables.
