Abducted 3-yr-old boy found in hotel

DHANGADHI, AUG 22 -
A three-year-old boy, who was abducted by an unidentified group from his house in Dhangadhi-3 in Kailali on Monday, has been found in a hotel room in Kanchanpur district. Binod Rawat, a resident of Dhangadhi Municipality-3, was found at the hotel in Mahendranagar on Tuesday.

Police said the abductors had stayed in that hotel on Monday night and fled the hotel the following morning leaving the child there. The hotel owner informed police as the boy was left alone in the hotel room for hours.

The abductors went to the child’s house on Monday and identified themselves as friends of the boy’s father, Laxman Rawat. According to victim’s mother Aashika Rawat, the abductors took the boy to a nearby shop on the pretext of buying him chocolate. The boy said the abductors took him to the hotel on motorcycle and thrashed him. The abductors also took away the gold earrings the boy wore.
