HLPC, 33 parties agree for all-party meeting
KATHMANDU, AUG 22 -
A meeting between the High Level Political Committee ( HLPC ) and the 33 political parties, including the Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Maoist, on Thursday agreed to organise an all-party meeting.
As per the agreement reached between the HLPC and the poll-opposing 33-parties, all parties representing the dissolved Constituent Assembly will take part in the meeting.
The date of the meet, however, will be decided after two days.
Though the HLPC has termed it as an all-party meeting, the bloc of 33 parties has claimed that it was a round table conference.
CPN-Maoist Chairman Baidya said that the meeting was positive and it has agreed in principle to organise a round-table conference.
