Motorcyclist killed in road mishap

CHITWAN, JUL 26 -
A person has been killed in a motorcycle accident at Darechowk along the Narayangadh-Kurintar road section of Chitwan on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as motorcycle rider Dicijan Pariyar ,28, of Anbukhaireni, Tanahun. He died when an Indian registered truck hit his motorcycle (Ba 50 Pa 9471) coming from the opposite direction at around 1 this morning.

Pariyar succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital at around 2:00 am, police said.

Pillion rider Arjun Shrestha, who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College.

The truck has been impounded while the driver has been taken into police custody for necessary action.
