Nepali Cricketers awarded
National Sports Council (NSC) felicitated the national cricket team, who have qualified for ICC Cricket League Division 2 after their remarkable triumph in the ICC Cricket League Division 3- held in Bermuda in April- amid a programme organised at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Kamalpokhari on Thursday.
Following the historic achievement in Bermuda, NSC have declared to reward the ‘victorious’ team with Rs 350,000, which was heeded by the Central Committee meeting of the government in May. They were awarded with Rs 262,500 after 25% tax deduction.
Along with the players, coach Pubudu Dassanayake, manager Taridi Bikram Shah and physio Subramniyam Vikra were also felicitated.
