Dubey handed over to Indian police
A week after his arrest in Kathmandu, Bablu Dubey , a notorious criminal from Bihar state of India, was handed over to the Indian authorities on Tuesday.
The handover took place at Matiarwa, a town in Bara district bordering Nepal and India. It is learnt that Dubey was delivered to the Indian side on quid pro quo terms, without fulfilling the extradition process.

The Indian police was after Dubey for his alleged involvement in at least 36 murders and multiple counts of robbery and extoriton. He had been taking refuge in Nepal for the past eight months.
