Finance Minister assures of bringing controversy-free budget
KATHMANDU, JUL 08 - Finance Minister Shanker Prasad Koirala has said that the government would unveil new budget that would be easily accepted by the new elected government.
Speaking at a journalists' training programme organised by the Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal (SEJON) in the Capital on Monday, Minister Koirala assured of bringing controversy-free budget .
Stating that economic sector has been hit hard due to three partial budget s unveiled in the past fiscal year, he said the government is due to present details of income and expenditure of the nation this time rather than unveiling partial, full fledged or election budget .
"The new budget will be based on the third amendment to the constitution," said the Finance Minister, adding," The government will focus on election following the budget announcement."
