One killed, over dozen injured in Banke accident
BANKE, JUL 12 -
A person has been killed and 25 other injured in a road accident at Mahadevpuri VDC in Banke district along East-West highway on Friday morning.
The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 3822) heading for Dailekh from Kathmandu collided with a tripper (Na 1 Kha 3428) coming from the opposite direction.
The deceased has been identified as tripper driver Subhas Tamang, 21, of Nuwakot district.
Meanwhile, among the injured, three have sustained critical injuries.
All the injured are undergoing treatment at the Kohalpur Teaching Hospital in Banke .
