Nepal calls on Prez Yadav
KATHMANDU, JUL 23 -
CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal called on President Ram Baran Yadav at the latter's official residence in Shital Niwas on Tuesday morning.
During the meeting, the duo held discussion on Nepal's India visit scheduled for July 24.
It has been reported that Nepal briefed the president about his agendas to be presented during his four-day visit and present political scenario.
The former prime minister has been invited for an official visit by India n PM Manmohan Singh.
Nepal is expected to meet Singh, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai and Opposition leaders. In Bihar, he will meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while attending a function at the Nalanda University.
