'We feel orphaned by Karmacharya's death'
KATHMANDU, JUL 24 - UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the death of one of the founding members of the Communist Party of Nepal, Nar Bahadur Karmacharya , has made them ( communist s) feel orphaned.
"Karmacharya was the guardian of all the communist parties in Nepal and that his death has made all communist s feel orphaned," said Dahal.
Talking briefly to media persons at the UCPN (Maoist) Headquarters in Paris Danda today, Dahal further said that the communist leaders and cadres were in deep shock from his death .
Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) founder member Nar Bahadur Karmacharya had passed away at the Model Hospital in the Capital on Wednesday morning. He was 90.
Similarly, senior UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal echoed Prachanda while saying that the communist parties were shocked from Karmacharya's death .
There was no alternative to unity among all communist s to make his dream come true, added Nepal.
