Chand appointed judge in Labour Court

KATHMANDU, JUL 11 -
The government has appointed Dhir Bahadur Chand as the judge in the Labour Court.

The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday appointed Chand as per the recommendation of Legal Service Commission. Chand is also the joint-secretary at the commission.

Likewise, the meeting has given the authority to take decision on budgetary assistance of Rs 2.83 billion to be given by IDO for the sustainability of co-operatives in Nepal to the secretary of Finance Ministry and its joint secretary.

According to Minister for Information and Communications Madhav Poudel, the government has decided to send 130 Nepal Army personnel in Syria in July 1 and 130 more in September as peace armies as per the request by the United Nations.

Likewise, the meeting has endorsed the concept paper of 13th national planning.

The meeting has also decided to dissolve Cattle Feed Committee in Hetauda and to give retirement to its employees from today itself.

The government has decided to give the land of the committee to Dairy Development Corporation ( DDC ).
