Illegally imported chickens seized

BHADRAPUR, JAN 05 -
Police have seized a large number of chickens illegally imported from across the border with India.

Over 300 illegally imported chickens were seized on Saturday afternoon by the police patrol team of Satighatta Police Post, said the District Police Office, Jhapa.

The chickens were seized at the presence of Mukesh Kumar Singh, chief at the Animal quarantine Office, Kakadvitta.  

These chickens were seized fearing possible threat of bird-flu, it is learnt. RSS
