Addressing a facilitation programme for newly elected Constitution Assembly ( CA ) members in Banepa today, leader Thapa said his party would not compromise on Sanatan Hindu religion, democracy with constitutional kingship and strengthened autonomous governance system.
"We would not hesitate to hit the parliament and the street and even make the country compelled to go for referendum to establish our agendas if other parties attempt to impose their agendas on us," said Thapa.
"Referendum is our last weapon to institutionalise our party's agendas," he said, adding flexibility and comprises for good sake will be the party's policy in the parliament.
Underlining the need for drafting a new constitution by incorporating the voices of the political parties outside the CA , he claimed that party's better position in the second CA election is for establishing constitutional monarchy .
He accused the major political parties of neglecting the party' presence and said the party is going to the new CA with a certain mission.
